Bill Restoring Aerospace Engineering Tax Incentives Passes Committee
House Bill 1008, by Representative Skye McNiel, passed the Senate Finance Committee today by a vote of 10-0. This legislation, which is identical to Senate Bill 3 by Senator Mike Mazzei, will remove the aerospace incentives from the list of credits on moratorium as of July 1 this year. Both of these bills will work to encourage growth within the Oklahoma aerospace sector, which is currently one of Oklahoma’s top three economic engines.
This bill will now go on to be heard in the full Senate.
