House Passes Legislation Restoring Aerospace Incentives

  • March 09, 2011

House Bill 1008, by Representative Skye McNiel, passed the House of Representatives today by a vote of 69-28. This legislation, which is identical to Senate Bill 3 by Senator Mike Mazzei, will remove the aerospace incentives from the list of credits on moratorium as of July 1 this year. Both of these bills will work to encourage growth within the Oklahoma aerospace sector, which is currently one of Oklahoma’s top three economic engines.

Both bills will now begin the process of moving through their opposite chamber of origin.  We will keep you updated on their progress.
