  The Tinker and the Primes National Business Event creates and fosters new and existing partnerships between Tinker Air Force Base, prime government contractors and small businesses.   The 2010 Program will include the following opportunities.

  • Multiple Keynote Presentations scheduled on both Tuesday and Wednesday, providing attendees and exhibitors greater access to key policy and decision makers.
  • Expanded exhibit hours to include Monday afternoon/early evening, providing exhibitors and Small Business Forum attendees additional opportunities for business to business networking.
  • Adjustments to agenda times reducing conflicts between parallel presentations and ensuring attendees have an opportunity to see every offering.
  • An expanded Small Business Forum on Monday! The restructured Small Business Forum will feature informative workshops in addition to the one-on-one meetings offered each year. Potential Workshop topics include the following:
    • How to take advantage of Mentor/Protégé programs;
    • Addressing woman-owned business challenges;
    • Success stories from small business owners;
    • Proposal preparation;

  • Becoming and remaining fiscally fit (Why cash flow matters).
