The Oklahoma Office of Apprenticeship assists employers and groups of employers in the Aerospace Industry establish and maintain structured, formalized Registered Apprenticeship Programs for their workforce. The Registered Apprenticeship model includes customized, structured on the job learning under qualified mentors combined with related technical instruction. Registered Apprenticeship program sponsors are nationally registered and a national certification is issued to employees who complete a Registered Apprenticeship Program.

The Office of Apprenticeship has been serving employers for over 70 years as a division of the U.S. Department of Labor.
