The Airpark is a planned international trade center dedicated to logistics, industry and aviation businesses.
A former military base that was part of the Troop Carrier Command. The Airpark was used as a heavy bombardment training center for B-17 combat crews. Closed following the Korean conflict and ultimately transferred to the Ardmore Development Authority in 1984.
Two runways (5,000 and 9,000 feet), FAA Control tower, MRO services support aviation. Rail facilities in place. Distribution centers in place. User fee airport and FTZ applied for. 1,000 acres owned by Airpark are available for development and additional 800 acres from private developers adjoin the property and are part of the master development plan for the Ardmore International Trade Center.
