AirOne Flight Academy, Inc. is the successor company to a flight training operation began in 1995 by Hal Harris. Mr. Harris held AirLine Transport Pilot Certificate with Airplane Multi-Engine Land Ratings, Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating and Airplane Single Engine Land Rating. He had flown corporate aircraft to destinations in 48 states, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America. He began his flight training operation from Wiley Post Airport (PWA) in Oklahoma City after discovering a void in the local area for quality flight training. This operation has been located on the Wiley Post Airport since inception. For several years it has been located in the Terminal Building on Wiley Post Airport. In April of 2004 AirOne Flight Academy became an FAA Part 141 Approved Pilot School. The approved courses are for Private Pilot Certification, Commercial Pilot Certification, Instrument Rating, Multi-Engine Rating, Certificated Flight Instructor, and Certificated Flight Instructor - Instrument.
